Thoughts from Grad on NCLEX preparation at Jersey College
Sherika V. enrolled in nursing school at Jersey College in Sunrise, Florida ready to transition from LPN to RN. She shares her insight on taking the LPN NCLEX compared to the RN NCLEX and how pushing through the challenges of nursing school helps prepare students to pass the NCLEX. Reflecting back on her journey to become a Registered Nurse, she shows gratitude for the way Jersey College prepared her to succeed. Although during the process nursing exams and tests can be hard, she shares appreciation for the support and knowledge she received from her Fort Lauderdale Campus nursing instructors.
“I want to take this time to thank you all for the opportunity to fulfill my life long childhood dream to become a Registered Nurse! I can now honestly say I appreciate the process that I had to go through. I remember when I first did my NCLEX for LPN 5 years ago, I had the minimum amount of questions and left there feeling very positive that I passed and I did. However, this time it was nothing like LPN NCLEX, this one was brutal! Whilst doing the exam I was saying to myself, now I have a new respect for Jersey College’s way of preparation, as this exam was the hardest exam I ever did in my life! I can now say with gratitude and appreciation after going through the experience thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am now feeling like I am in a dream, which I do not want to make up from!” – Sherika V., RN Grad
